By the end of the course you’ll be able to pass a front end technical screen covering the fundamentals of front end web development HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. We also will dive into interview prep, cultural questions, and general HR screening questions.
As a front end engineer working at a major tech company I’m always happy to help others understand the fundamentals of Front End Engineering. By understanding the main core concepts bit only will be become better engineers but we will interview better increasing our career prospects significantly.
Although, the majority of the course is on technical subjects we will cover crucial business topics as well. Engineering is one part technical and one part soft / business skills at the end of the day.
Each question will include 3 main items:
Insight into why a question is asked and what an interviewer is looking for
How to answer the question
If applicable, code examples with additional detail to fully understand the material
The course syllabus was designed alongside multiple front end developers with over 30 years of combined experience with varied backgrounds from self–taught to traditional CS degree routes. I think it’s important to mention this as you will be working with engineers of all backgrounds but the combination of what is important remains true across the spectrum.

Really enjoyed the course. Great content and very clear explanation. Highly recommend it to people preparing for front end interviews.
Ziv Israeli –
Too verbose and doesn’t actually give a the final response: what’s the difference between var and let. There should be a summary after the explanation; bulleted list.
Dominika Bieder –
lacking structure, hoisting topic wasn’t well explained

It’s a very good course. To go into a question deeper, I went on youtube for about 30% of the time, but it doesn’t mean anything negative about this course. I actually liked how straight to the point the explanations were with not too much examples or extra information that could make me overwhelmed. As I said, when I needed extra, I went on youtube or google search. I agree that the author mumbled sometimes, however, after a while I got used to it in the end, we are all speak differently. I would definitely recommend this course because it: 1) gives a good structure for interview preparation; 2) contains insides on what questions are asked on an interview and what is expected to be answered; 3) provides short question intro and short explanation keeping you learning farder.

It was a good course. I have seen so many questions from these topics during my interviews.
