Wow, this is the best course I’ve taken on Udemy, and not just for Machine Learning – seriously. Concepts well explained, material extremely comprehensive, and the whole curriculum is structured logically and built to take you from 0 to expert in the most efficient way I’ve seen. Not many classes put it all together like this one.Terrific course.

Perfect match. I wanted to know how to deploy ML models to a server.

He is taking us through each and every step. Including the downloading of the software. Which is easy but its always good to know that you have help in each and every step. Hopefully he continues to do the same throughout the whole course.

Code texts are too small to read, it would be much better if it can be set to bigger. Other than that, it’s a good course for beginner to just explore all the different concepts. John is a nice person, he really wants to share all his knowledge, and that’s why he tried to teach everything in this one course, which unfortunately makes it not a good one, here is why: 1 John is not good at everything. I feel he knows data science much better than he knows programming. Honestly, I like the sections he teaches data science (and ML/DL/CNN/GAN), and only when with slides or whiteboard, because he can explain complex concepts very clear and easy to understand. (Handwriting on whiteboard is hard to be recognized though.) As for the programming part, he makes mistakes everywhere all the time, if you are a beginner on programming (which he expects you to be as the course was designed that way), and you follow his coding, you’ll very easily get lost and ends up googling for solutions because not all mistakes he made were explained in course. (Maybe this is exactly he wanted though.) There are times you are sure you coded exactly the same as he did, but his codes work in the next course but yours don’t. And then after hours of struggling, it turns out to be a small syntax mistake or version conflicts he did not mention. In short, as for the programming part, you are supposed to be a pure beginner (as the courses are so basic) but have at least intermediate problem solving skills (finding syntax error and/or version conflicts in your codes and google for solutions you don’t even know how to describe because you are a beginner) to follow along. IT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE. 2 As I pointed out at beginning, code texts in course video are way too small to read. I’m definitely a beginner in HTML/CSS/JS/Python(&Django), and I still feel these sections are too basic, I fast forward video for most of the time while he is teaching programming. I know absolutely nothing about data science, and this is the only part I enjoyed in the course as I feel I learned something new and interesting. I’d suggest John to consider splitting the course into 3 independent courses: 1 Web Frontend Dev (Git + HTML/CSS/JS): definitely try to teach deeper than current course. 2 Web Backend Dev with Django (Git + Linux + AWS + Python + Django): definitely try to teach deeper in django (Apps and Databases) 3 Data science: As current or even deeper. I DO appreciate John’s efforts to try to make this a great course, unfortunately it’s not for me. Not recommended.

This course is absolutely amazing. It teaches a wide range of topics from basic front end to back end Python basics to ML. And it’s rare to find an instructor who does it with clear logic and examples. I strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to kick start their programming!

The course is great, it is very hands on. You can learn about different areas and you get enough so you can explore more about it after. What I like the most is that is very hands on and the big variety of knowledge you can get for one course also the content I think is very on demand nowadays. Instructor also gives some points about a possible job search which is also helpful.
