Markdown: Learn to Write HTML-Ready Content in ANY Web Tool!
$19.99 $12.99Track price
Learn the ins and outs of the Markdown writing format – a syntax that helps you produce HTML ready content in an easier and more efficient manner. This course will introduce you to the world of Markdown and its background. It will then dive into the conventions of the writing format itself, including the various ways of publishing markdown content. All of this can be done with just a simple text editor. We’ll be running through the A–Z of Markdown, showing you how to create headers, images, links and more. In this course, I also use the Ghost CMS tool to illustrate how Markdown works in a real–world environment. Ghost is a CMS that uses Markdown to create posts. You can follow along using Ghost or any other Markdown–to–HTML conversion tool of your choice such as Dillinger. You can also use the Atom text editor, which has a built–in Markdown live viewer.

Pretty much what I needed a shape for what I already know and filling the blanks (mainly in links, tables and images) as I use .md to take meeting notes primarily.

I am an experienced markdown user so I mostly bought this course for review and reference purpose and this course was great! It’s even better than my expectations. If I forget something I can come right back to the course and know exactly where what I look for is located.

Quick, to the point, and shows you how things work behind the scenes to put you on the path to learning more while giving what you need to start basic use. Which might be all you need!
