Poor(0) number of assignments till now(Lecture 107)! It could be a lot better by applying the knowledge of every lecture or module with a number of exercises so somebody could see if he really understands what he learns at different sections of the course. Different exercises with different scenarios would be a good idea though since the concept of types is fairly new to programmers without any prior knowledge with typed languages like C/C++! Max is a great instructor and I’ve taken many of his courses. My comment does not have to do with the capabilities of the instructor to deliver a well organized product, which apart from my comment this course is indeed well organized, but with the ability of the current course to truly pass down the knowledge of typescript to a beginner level typescript programmer though. Recommendation: More assignments Disclaimer: I am not here to scary people away of course. Get this course, you’re gonna learn a lot!

I started using Typescript with React in a project but got stuck many times and working through the docs was very dry, so I looked for video courses and found this one. After working my way through this course I have now a much better understanding and working with Typescript is very enjoyable now. My only critique is that the first half of the course is very dry to follow as there is no practice time. He talks through all the different types and options and does include small quizzes at the end of each section, but I would love to see some coding challenges, to make it easier to remember the material and make it more fun and interactive.
