The instructor is very knowledgeable. He explains every topic to the best of your understanding and he made it easy to follow along on every topic.

It was a good summary. There are some typos in the slides. Examples could of been clearer. Overall a good summary of database design.

The installation instructions for MySQL did not work for me, and they differed from what was actually on the website (i.e., the tutorial needs updating). The patch placed in the tutorial seemed odd…instead, the instructor should have corrected the slides. Finally, the test was very poor for several reasons. 1) As displayed, you could not see all of the answers at once, making it more difficult to make a selection, 2) There was never an indication if more than one answer was possible (i.e,., in some cases, only 1 answer was possible, while multiple selections were possible for others), and 3) there were questions on material that was never covered during the tutorial.

Good overview of basics of datamodel designs with some examples to illustrate. Not everything was very clear but it’s a good course for beginners.

The course was good. One comment though, this course being for beginners, I expected the instructor would have given more coverage on the conceptual design (diagram) rather than directly going to physical design. Thank you Rares Ilea

Great course, the first part with the B tree could be a bit more clearer. Other than that, excellent stuff.
