I’ve done some basic Bootstrap 4 courses before And I was looking for a course that would combine all this previously gained knowledge. This course did that perfectly! This course is a step by step journey through the Bootstrap theme creation process. It provides well explained lessons and the included progress files come in very handy when you get stuck. Drew gives a very clear explanation about why he uses certain classes and why he’s adding the CSS. This way you can easily modify the theme to your own wishes afterwards. Great course! If I have one suggestion to give, it would be to spend more time explaining some of the user of APIs. For example when you use p y in bootstrap, it took a while and some reading in bootstrap to get that ‘p’ stands for padding and ‘m’ for margin. Other then that, whish is really minor, I like the way the course is done. A little bit more exercises would be good to. For example. if he spend a little more time explain the subtleties of bootstrap or other APIs, some of the Jumbotron div in the features section could have been done as an exercise instead of seeing the teacher copy , paste and modify them. Just give the instructions of what need to be done.

The course content is great, it is exactly what I was hoping for, but the presentation really needs a bit of a tweaking. The speech is clear, but it drives me nuts that the speaker speaks in disconnected sentences. It is really off putting and immensely distracting when he leaves big pauses in the middle of sentences, between words, and causes the tone of the sentence to get lost. The result is that he sounds very unsure of what he’s saying all the time, sentences aren’t finished where or how they’re supposed to more than a few times in each video, and when your’e trying to follow along with a jam packed coding video, the last thing you want to be doing is trying to allocate a lot of focus just to break down and reconstruct the speakers sentences into cohesive pieces that make a bit more sense. Again, the course is really good, I just find its really irritating to work through the videos in this way, its just so much extra head noise to deal with that it actually ends up exhausting you.
