In the past decade, cloud computing has been gaining popularity at a tremendous rate. Some cloud providers are experiencing a growth rate of 50% year over year – which is just astounding. And the reason for this growth is obvious – cloud computing enables ubiquitous, convenient, on–demand access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources which can be rapidly provisioned and released with minimal effort.
Microsoft Azure is a cloud computing platform that offers a broad set of global compute, storage, database, analytics, application, and deployment services that help organizations move faster, lower IT costs, and scale applications.
The Azure Resource Manager, provided by Microsoft Azure, is a versatile service that simplifies how you manage your cloud resources. The Azure Resource Manager can help you define, build and maintain your application in a consistent manner. Within the context of Azure Stack, the Azure Resource Manager is the management layer (API) where you connect to for deploying resources.
With Azure Resource Manager (ARM) you can deploy, delete, or update all resources for your solution in a single and coordinated operation by using templates. The templates are in the form of JSON format, and these templates can be used for deployment in different environments such as staging, testing, and production. The Resource Manager helps in providing auditing, security, and tagging features to help you manage your resources post–deployment.

Picture quality is bad
Sarath Bandla –
Explained clearly till now by selecting the prime topic of azure and not mixing up with other courses. Impressed with the explanation skills, but sometimes I felt video is going little bit faster. Overall it’s a good one:)

Although the instructor did a good job in explaining all the key concepts about Azure key services in detail but probably he should have more explained in detail about the JSON code in the Templates with different use case scenarios related to any different requirements given for all those IAAS and PAAS key services.
Prakash Victor Sebaratnam –
completed. thanks

Great content. Nobody else had this content on Udemy or anywhere else. But I wish there was a professional instructor who went through this material. Because when diving into ARM templates a lot of knowledge that could have been transferred to the student was missed.
Ravikiran Areti –
good
Dave Jezierski –
It needed to go deeper into ARM Template authoring. I need to know how to code these. Thanks
Debaraj Patra –
Needs more practical

There is way too much intro and it takes a while to get to the real class. The class could also use some better QA, some of the quizzes are hard to understand the questions as well as lectures don’t always flow well. In reality all this class does is take a pre existing template form GitHub and how you how it works. All in all though the information is useful once you get to it but not what I was expecting.

Covering only basics and more repetitive which makes it less content. Remove the repetitive and add some advance topics.
Kabelo Matlakala –
Definitely not what I expected. Please read the reviews before enrolling. The course intro video creates expectation but the course unfortunately falls short.
