The teacher does a good presentation on CSS and explains what to use depending upon the HTML5 layout. He separates the code according to what application is presented and the result is shown via browsers.

Everything was explained in understandable manner on simple examples. But I was missing putting all knowledge together in some bigger project, as programing whole website, where the essential principles of inheritance would be explained in depth. The lack of it makes whole course kind of shallow. Especially the last section, about mobile websites, barely touched the surface.

I have learned a great deal, but he makes the same mistake over and over he starts a lecture with something new but doesn’t explain how he got there. I am guessing he is not a teacher but some one who knows how to do it what he is explaining and make an assumption that the students should know.

The lessons were easy to follow, but some of the content is outdated and those methods are not used or preferred anymore. The sound quality is also not the best. But the labs were good and the solution videos were excellent to have.

Does a good job of covering basics and going in depth on each feature, but wish there was material included with each lecture so I don’t have to create a new page every time or could follow along with image styling and what not.

Great course and teacher. Many people were commenting that they didn’t like how he would have something already created and then go over what he just did. If you took the HTML5 class before this one, you will understand why he was doing that. I enjoyed this class even though I was following along in Dreamweaver. Some small things are different in Dreamweaver than in Brackets but I was able to figure those out. Not sure what year this class was created either but it was still very helpful!

Thanks to FrameworkTv. The CSS specialist training is a real contributing series. I had a lot of clarifications on css3 implementations especially using animations and transitions and how to integrate css properties in the transition for amazing effects. I encourage all web student to take the course.

Quite basic, instructor insists on using internal stylesheets for quite some time despite it being poor practice, I’ve got a reasonable level of knowledge but felt he glosses over important content or doesn’t cover it at all. Perhaps fine for a beginner but it’s no way comprehensive i’m afraid.
