Up–to–date with Terraform 0.14+!

Learn to implement production–ready infrastructure with AWS ECS Fargate container platform using Terraform today with an AWS Certified Solutions Architect!

Source code now updated with Terraform 12!

Do you want to implement your complete infrastructure as code? Do you want to learn the coolest and most popular infrastructure configuration management tool on the market, Terraform and make a huge contribution to your skillset?

Then this course is what you need! You will not only learn how to implement Terraform code but also implement an AWS Well–Architected Framework recommended deployment model which will be Highly–Available, Scalable, Fault–Tolerant and Resilient!

In this course, we will start by exploring the tools we need throughout the course. Just to note here too, we will need an IDE with a proper Terraform plugin available. An AWS account is also necessary so I will show you how to get one if you do not already have it. Sure we will set up our environment variables for Terraform deployments and also configure our IDE to use Terraform efficiently by installing a Terraform Plugin which will highlight the syntax and auto–complete everything we intend to do.

In between all these, I will also give you a crash course on Terraform where you will gain all the information you need to implement this infrastructure!

The course took you from 0 to TOP. the only minor problem that the course is outdated for terraform 0.12, but with minimal changes you can make it works

Course is a bit outdated as its created for Terraform 0.11 and not 0.12. The course is very hands on, and lacks explanations on the different AWS Services used.

Terraform used is this course is 0.11, but current version is 0.12. There is also problem with build app, because there is no mvnw in project.

It is all good until chapter 9… It become very hard to carry on. Quite a bit of code is type in without further explanation. Example, the purpose of doing the split, what we trying to achieve here. Going back to chapter1, why main.tf is renamed to output.tf? There are bit and pieces around that was been done without reason, explanation or a simple instruction without further elaborating.

I’m a Sysops Associate certified in AWS and I’ve been using Terraform for the past 3 years, I have to say that this course has been way more informative than expected. Very nicely done.

I really liked this course There was a real expectation that should have been listed at the beginning even though it might sound like a common sense the fact that you need a deep knowledge with AWS

Not to be mean to the instructor, but I found this course to be very disappointing. The majority of this course was hands on, which is fine, but significantly lacks the explanations of each key concepts. In my opinion, there should be some principles explained first, then do the hands on exercise to reinforce the understanding. I felt like I’m doing all the hands on exercise without knowing what I’m doing half the time. Another thing was that many of the materials seemed to be outdated, and had to spend some time to fix the code to comply with the latest syntax and best practices. Because I could not learn much of the things that I really wanted to learn, I might actually take a different training on the same subject.

Very straight forward course. This is more for anyone that wants to implement an ECS app using terraform without going deep into the details.

I gain lots of hands on knowledge on Terraform on AWS by using this course. I used to spend much more time specially on provisioning TLS certificate but know I know how easy it is to use Terraform to automate it. And good choice of using the IntelliJ as a code editor in the lectures as it shows the students the value of productive tools in the market when writing infrastructure as code.

Not everything updated to TF 0.12, sometimes fonts / colours do not look so nice. Often deeper explanations would have been nice. On the other side, it is nice starting from scratch and doing it hands on. A complete ECS/Fargate solution is built end to end.
