Omar takes his time showing you every step you need to take in order to create a very modern website using modern techniques. While I have a web dev background, I hadn’t kept up with the newer ways of doing things and this course was extremely helpful. Highly recommended!

This course covered many of the topics in web design that I have long been wishing to explore. While demonstrating techniques to implement specific effects, this course provides more than enough background for an in depth exploration. The teaching is clear, amiable, and actually it’s fun to listen and follow along.

Positives: Three nice looking websites, learning about different plugins, learning LESS, learning about the tools and general website development process. Learning to work with .psd files was useful even though I didn’t have Photoshop. Definitely value for money. Negatives: sound quality wasn’t always the best, felt rushed at times (too much jumping between screens and the instructor didn’t always bother to explain css stuff), presentation wasn’t the most engaging, Q&A section is a bit empty. Some opinion on vanilla JS vs. plugins would have been nice.
