Definitely learned some good stuff in here, plus always have one legit LOL from Jazeb’s courses. I like the lecture on the hacker & how happy he was after he cracked the dB. He thought he was going to get …. that evening lol. Some of the code could be updated. For example, rolling your own salts is not recommended & there is much easier/correct way to do this in php. using mysql & not mysqli and I don’t know why? This isn’t a big deal as the conversion is easy. Other than that, the course is good. Jazeb know’s his stuff.

the instructor has a great grasp on the subject matter but the product is delivered in mysql, and does not utilize mysqli or pdo at all.

The good point is the instructor describe the connection between PHP and MySQL is clear and gives the good logical steps. The disadvantage is I installed the latest version of PHP MySQL and all the lectures cannot be used in my SQL database. Look on the bright side, I searched many questions and answers in stackoverflow and got another good way to know the mysqli with PDO.
