Pro : The instructor is very knowledgeable A lot can be learned from this Real life application (something you could actually use in your projects) Con : The pace could be a bit slower Could use some mini challenges to help the learning part (In an example : you could explain something to us, then give us a mini challenge to complete, after that show and explained how you did and the thought process behind it)

This is more of a Editor Scripting Basics class than a Masterclass. It is not a bad course but the title is a bit deceiving and the instructor is very dry and monotone. He does touch on some intermediate level uses of editor scripting in the last section of the course but still lacks the Masterclass level of content. If you are new to editor scripting and have some energy drinks, I would recommend this course but if you are looking for an upbeat, advanced editor scripting experience this is not the course for you.

This is a fantastic start to Unity Editor Scripting. If you are on the fence, just get it and it will be a good way to get a basic understanding. However it is relatively bare bones and the teacher’s microphone clips when he makes s sounds and this is very noticeable at 1.5x speed and higher.

A good introduction, but either there is a lot less to GUI programming in Unity than I expected or this class isn’t all that detailed. I would recommend it to get your feet wet but I wouldn’t call it comprehensive by any means

This tutorial is very basic, not for one who want to deep learn unity editor scripting, and the test is very perfunctory.

I really enjoyed this course and I learned a lot. Neil has a friendly tone and is knowledgeable about the subject. I would have liked to have had more example projects as editor scripting and creation is almost a dark art and it would be great to have gone wider and deeper. Maybe an advance editor scripting class? hint hint. It’s a really good start however and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed taking this class.

The host/presenter/teacher is so unenthusiastic and sleepy that I am feeling sleepy as well. Also, he is reading off somewhere, a fact apparent from his eye movement, which is very disconcerting for me and student and I am having to work hard not to stare at his video which is at the right corner of the screen to focus on the lesson.

Just started and intro is very simple and straight forward which is good. Will update as go further. P

The good: The information was presented short, clear, and to the point, in a nice pace. A good course for beginners to get started with the topic The not so good: The speaker is very monotone and sounds bored almost the entire time. Also for something called Masterclass, I expected a little more, especially about Serialized object handling, and maybe about how to mimic Unity internal functionality.
