The Reviews Are In!
This is a great course. It is very easy to follow and gives lots practice/hands on work and projects so you can really get a feel for what you are doing and cement your knowledge and skills. It starts with the very basics to give you a great foundation and moves up from there. Plus you get a real–life certification that you can use anywhere, even place the bade of your LinkedIn profile to highlight that you have been trained and certified in HTML5. –Stacie M.

This course is made very well. It gives short lessons, with good examples, as well as assignments that you have to complete to reinforce what you learn. And when you finish you can get a certification from Framework Television and can go on to build on what you learned in their other courses to get other certifications. I recommend this course and others by Framework TV.
Tom Bunko –
simple, probably great for a real beginner.
Salvador Repasa –
i was expecting a more solid video content and not reading too much on a document

This course is great for beginners learning HTML5, and Mark is great in his video lectures explaining the basic exercises prior to the homework assignments! The only thing I would change is to keep the documents and attachments consistent. For example, some sections include PDF documents of the readings, while others only include the readings. Also, the reading assignments in the HTML page are too long perhaps breaking up the text in separate sections (i.e. Assignment Forms) instead of the general Reading heading would provide the student a better understanding of the section.

The course was easy to follow along with, and the way it broke things down it felt like the course flew by. If you’re on the fence about learning HTML, don’t be! The instructor will help you get certified, and hopefully looking into a better job quickly!

I still stand behind my 5 star rating. I was a web development major in college right before HTML 5 became the standard, so I know all of the code we aren’t supposed to use. This class has been great at bringing me up to speed on HTML 5 (I knew basics) and how CSS interacts with the code. This has been extremely helpful in getting a good knowledge of the material.

Great class
Simon Trowbridge –
A good combination of short, to the point videos backed up with some extra reading and then reinforced with exercises to submit. A great learning combo.

Good course for a beginner. Assistant instructor Jonah Castro is a pleasure to work with.

This has been a not too long journey where I’ve learned some new things; I believe the necessary assignments are what stand out in this course + certification, every assignment is reviewed by a teacher. I strongly believe this has been time and money well invested.
Michelle Holmes –
Easy to follow.
Marek Fila –

This course provides a great jumping in point for anyone who knows nothing (or has forgotten much they may have learned before) about HTML. Early lessons are basic, and careful explanation is included with each new topic as you progress. Solid, practical and easy to follow.
