I’m only on video 2, but I have taken Juan’s courses before, this one will be excellent as the others were, I’m sure.

This is an awesome course especially if you want to do an expert level deep dive into WordPress. You will definitely need these skills as you get into web design agency level work. I look forward to more on Gutenberg blocks too.
Sean Viljoen –
Awesome course for something a bit more advanced. Simple to follow and easy to understand.

Great course. Great instructor. Very knowledgeable. I also like his style of teaching. From the bottom up. Very easy to understand what he’s doing, because he layers new stuff on top of what we already know. Definitely a good choice. I see some people complaining about his accent. Yeah, he’s not a native English speaker, but you get used to it after two videos, and his English is actually very good. So to be honest I don’t see what these people are complaining about it. Just get the course.

I wouldn’t go so far as to call this an ‘advanced’ wp course. It doesn’t really delve into much detail, especially in the earlier sections. But, nonetheless if you are a WP Beginner, then this is still a great course to take.

This is the most concise WordPress course I have taken on Udemy and I have worked through several of the top ones. I have never learned so much in such a short amount of time. I wish more instructors would follow Juan’s teaching style. If you are a WordPress developer trying to level up or learn something new this may be the course for you. If you are already a developer like me (.NET/C# background) wanting to really understand how to develop in WordPress this is one of few Udemy courses that will give you much of what you need to be successful. I hardly ever leave a review before finishing a course. I am 30% through and feel like I have gotten more out of this than 3 of the other courses I recently made it through.

Great course!

Fantastic course with examples and information that I have yet to see in any other WordPress developer course. This is the kind of stuff you will be interviewed on as it is the kind of stuff you need to know to make a WP website fully customizable. I’ve taken dozens of courses on Udemy, most of them are huge let downs. This is not one of them, this course exceeded my expectations.

Really out of date. Frustrating to watch the instructor do a simple task and then spend an hour trying to replicate it via googling and looking through q & a that is 9+ months old.

The instructor is knowledgeable on the topic and the sections are well structured. I personally don’t feel this course is advanced per se; however, it packs a lot of great content and I learned quite a few new things. Highly recommended if you are a beginner/junior programmer that wants to expand your knowledge on WordPress. I particularly liked the sections on Gutenberg Blocks. I would love if additional Gutenberg Blocks content was added. Thank you for such a great course.

This course is what the market really needed! The vast majority are beginner on WP Plugin Development and let you down after a couple of sections. This course was spot on with me with real practical examples that I am using while I am making my own project. I wanted to make an advanced filter page and I didn’t even now how the JS got into the equation with WP and all the others. But really this course helped me understand. I had some rough basics down from other courses in past like what is a hook, action etc but couldn’t advance more cause projects were either boring or I didn’t quite understand how things were connected. Hope to see even more from this instructor! I am really ok with the Spanish accent it’s really understandable. Sometimes I have to admin I put play speed on x1.25 or even x1.50.

Bien explicado y los ejemplos hasta ahora interesantes para realizarlos.

When you compare the ease of using CPT’s & Taxonomies to complexities of using Gutenberg (something I believe WordPress should address), Juan has done an excellent job. Now I realize why I struggled with Gutenberg before taking this course. Thank you Juan!
