DATA IS THE NEW GOLD. It is gold for companies that can harness the power of technologies and use it while transforming their business models into the digital age and become much more data–driven. It is an amazing journey fueled with new technologies, but we need to remember that data by itself is just one part of the equation.

What about the complex software around it? That is supposed to do something useful with the data. To be able to interface with many data sources, to store massive data volumes, to provide a great user interface and automatically analyze, and find useful patterns.

Software is the Engine, and data is the Fuel.

Until recently, many enterprise–level applications were designed, developed, and maintained as one giant monolithic applications. With a once in a year software release cycle, maybe two times in a year. Every small update required to build, test, and deploy all application modules as one package.

This course is very good, especially because it’s not vendor specific. With that agnostic approach, author explains concepts of architecture very good. Also, personally I find it very usefully notion of CD/CI concepts and how microservices architecture fits there. So this course present basics of microservices architecture in clear way and from high level. It’s excellent choice if U are using 90% off. Much of this content is already available on Web, but in this course is composed very good.

Author tried explaining the Micro services in a very good manner but it could have been cut shorted as the same information is repeated multiple times. Over all its a good course for beginners.

Overall very clear and well presented course. I found the material became very repetitive in the 2nd half. The course be shortened to one hour, or new material introduced in the second hour (e.g., maybe add more examples in the 2nd half).
