DevOps , CI/CD(Continuous Integration/Delivery for Beginners
$99.99 $15.99Track price
CI, CD and DevOps have taken over the software development world by storm. Most companies today realize that the practices of continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) will yield tremendous benefits like increased business revenue and faster time–to–market. The demand for these skills has been steadily rising over the last few years.
There are a plethora of tools available in the CI/CD/DevOps landscape today. Implementing continuous integration, continuous delivery and continuous deployment with these tools and frameworks can help us immensely in modernizing our software development lifecycle. It catches us bugs early and increases the quality of our software products. This, in turn, reduces the overall cost for software development in startups and enterprise alike.
But before getting into tools and frameworks, it is important that you get a holistic picture of CI / CD and DevOps. For this, you need to understand where we started from – the old school traditional software development cycle. We will pick holes in the old model, identify pain points and learn how CI / CD and DevOps evolved, one step at a time. Once you build a rock solid foundation using this course, you can move on to more specific tool oriented courses.

The way introduction to DevOps is given in this short course is awesome. This type of understanding is must before starting the actual journey of tools involved in DevOps.
krishna.kishore bhavaraju –
Wonderfully crisp introduction, little disappointed that he suggests manual testing in CD, and retained Ops team in the pipeline once scripts are created, they are not needed in the pipeline isnt it?

its very hard to read some of the text in the images. grey on blue don’t really work, especially when the font is so small
Mark Christopher Sherman –
Very informative so far
Rupin –
very nicely put together. can not wait to start my devops learning journey now.
Lingjia –
Basic concept on CI/CD. A bit too basic and conceptual. Real code example with e.g GIT CI/CD pipeline would be helpful
Richard Shatley –
Thank you for the overview, and breaking down some of the features of both CI and CD.
Abhishek Mahajan –
Would have needed to know a bit more about branching strategy with 2 3 cases studies How CI works when everybody is checking in as a practical example and not theory Need to dig a little more deeper into the content depth and add sample case studies of few success and more importantly failures
Kuna Ravindra Naidu –
pronunciation and explanation is good
Lenka Moravcova –
It was good, but short. Maybe the tools for DevOps could be included.
Clyton George Paul A –

Breaks a lots of myths about CI/CD and DevOps. Clears a lot of confusion Accent is OK, I can understand at 2x no problem 98% of the time. The format of the course leads to believe(see Q&A) section that there should be more. The course DOES have value as explains things in a clear and concise manner by going to the point and clearing all confusions with a methodical Pain Point versus Solution Paradigm to creating a didactic lesson set. Very few minor mistakes in words used. Giving it 3.5 because of the price, despite its value the level of effort shouldn’t merit such steep price because it needs at LEAST another section about DevOps rather than a single lecture that seems like an after thought.

This is a very good insight for newbies on this topic.
John Rainier Batasin –
I like the overall explanation, but In my opinion, it needs to add the different tools used in devops; like, (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub, etc). That way it helps the explain the why these tools are being used for devops.
Sampita Dey –
I liked the course alot. The instructor has explained the concepts in a very simple, clear and concise manner.
Stephen Adamczyk –
Describing a new environment can be better handled by focusing on what is provided, instead of describing unrealistic prior practices, some stats would be nice to have included.
Rajasree Karumuri –
