This is an excellent course! It is not getting a 5 star rating because it is a little bit outdated. Otherwise, really good material here.
Shawn Ferguson –
The course is old and there are a lot of compatabilty issues with cloud 9. Instruction is very good. After getting the development issues worked out I’ve found it very good.

The initial steps are outdated. It takes a lot of time to set up the AWS account. The directory name such as workspace or command such as …. no ri no rdoc are not working, they have been replaced. When trying to initialise the server, errors !!! I spent almost 5 hours just looking online for answers how to resolve the server error and get Rails running.

We jumped right into coding. Only in the beginning part of the course. Will give better rating later.

I am definitely learning, but with AWS taking over cloud9 and all the content being from the old IDE… I don’t know I would have made it this far if I was not already had development experience.

The interface was totally out of date and am unable to access the cloud services that are supposedly included in the course. I just requested a refund.
