Cypran Akubude –

When I started this quest, I was told that though I may be mixed up and it all sounds like an Alien language now, One day…. I will have an Aha! moment, when it all makes sense. I just want to take this moment to thank Rik. Lecture #63 Functions, was made so plain and so understandable I got it. When Rik went into his speech about The Scopes, Global and Local, I finally got it. That Aha! moment struck me like a ton of bricks. I’ve Listened to it explained by many teachers, but this man deserves an award, He finally got through to me exactly what it is. I now get it. He deserves a raise, a promotion, an statue built in his honor. He has done what no other teacher could do, he broke down scope to it’s simplest terms so I could grasp it. Thank You Rik. What a great teacher, hire more guys as smart as him. Also I’ve enjoyed this course and am sooooooo glad I took it. I will be recommending it to everyone I know who’s a beginner coder too. It’s always been said , the Right Teacher can teacher a student ANYTHING!. Rik proved that.

Journey Gault –
Its all right, it just needs some refinement, the visuals seem dated and the voice over could use a few retakes

This is my 3rd day studying the material. The content, material and the explanation is indeed perfect for a beginner. The only problem I am having, is in the REVIEW. I started with Section 1: Introduction 2: You Can Code 3: Coding In a Nutshell 4: Common Coding Concepts I’m truly eating up your material, it’s excellent. However, I want to review Section 10 How Code Run and I cannot find it. I went back looking for it and I just cannot find it. Can you PLEASE SIMPLIFY your RECORDING method.

English was obviously not the speaker’s main language. It is often hard to understand. The closed caption text is completely horrible, to the point of being embarrassing. Third, there is occasionally times when the speaker misspeaks, and says the exact opposite of what he is trying to teach (for instance, he teaches low level language vs. high level language, then as a recap, accidentally says High Level instead of Low level at the appropriate time. If you’re paying attention, you can catch it, but it makes for lessons with many errors.

Spoke slowly and hard to understand at times

I am so far enjoying this course! There is a bit of repetition and goes a bit too in depth to the point that it’s boring but I am definitely learning! I would recommend this course to any beginners who want to start coding!

Advaith B Nair –
I do truly enjoy this course. It is very understandable, and since I do not have much of a background in programming, it is a great start.
Darren Gregory –
It’s been pretty informative so far. I feel like I’m in a good position to proceed. I think it’s been laid out in a good way that’s easy to follow and understand. I’m excited to keep learning.
Aadhithya Prakash –
I feel like the instructor glosses over the most important parts of the code just to save time, and instead presents the entire code on the screen, instead of typing it in one by one. Doesn’t suit my style of learning at all. Not to mention, there is literally no response from him on any of the Questions that we’re asking. There’s no way to get in touch with him either.
Juan Pacheco –
It has been great and very informational

It is good to match for me, but as I am not able to listen and visualize the letters of the instructions flowing in the video. So, it is a matter of disappointment.
Olusade Kolade –
The instructions are very simple and concise, and this makes it easy to follow
