Twine 2 Basics

Very good instructor, knowledgeable about twine, engaging and generally good.

Great course! He always tells you where he is navigating from, and I thought the lessons on variables and conditions were very helpful in getting me started with the project I am working on. Hooks, in my opinion, are something probably no one can explain well, and I think Harlowe needs to take another look at them. I did not know or realize at first what likability was referring to (as a Psychology major, I thought perhaps we were starting a research study or something…) and I checked Google to see if it was some secret software feature. This is not like this author. I usually always understand what he is talking about and why. I finally figured out that he must be using likeability as a variable, but I just wasn’t sure from the initial explanation. Also, he did not run the examples to show how they worked in that section, though we could download the code and do that ourselves. This is the only time he did not do that, he usually is really good at showing you what happens when the code is run. I would also suggest including a section on HTML Comments. But all together, this was an excellent course, explained very well, and it has allowed me to start using Twine for a project I am involved in at work. Thanks! I would be eager to take other courses from this author!

Narration is constantly paused or self interrupted. Content already said is repeated. Looks like organization and planning lacked a bit. Could use re recording of voice over the bad narration.
