The goal of this lecture is to transport the best practices of data science from the industry while developing a CORONA / COVID–19 analysis prototype
The student should learn the process of modeling (Python) and a methodology to approach a business problem based on daily updated COVID 19 data sets
The final result will be a dynamic dashboard – which can be updated by one click – of COVID–19 data with filtered and calculated data sets like the current Doubling Rate of confirmed cases
Techniques used are REST Services, Python Pandas, scikit–learn, Facebook Prophet, Plotly, Dash, and SIR virus spread simulations + bonus section Tableau for visual analytics
For this, we will follow an industry–standard CRISP process by focusing on the iterative nature of agile development
Business understanding (what is our goal)
Data Understanding (where do we get data and cleaning of data)
Data Preparation (data transformation and visualization)
Modeling (Statistics, Machine Learning, and SIR Simulations on COVID Data)
Deployment (how to deliver results, dynamic dashboards in python and Tableau)

Highly recommended for every beginner to intermediate data scientist. This course follows a clear path through the world of data science. You can tell, that this guy comes from the industry and has a lot of experience in this field.

I recently started exploring Python and the whole Data analysis world. As I am still learning, I was thinking Covid 10 as the primary candidate for my first project. When I found this course I was excited since I was expecting something more systematic than my exploratory approach. I am pleased to find out that 1/5 of the way of this course, it already exceeds my expectations. It is challenging enough for me, and provides new knowledge and tools. But most important it provides a the mentality, the way to approach things with a more business oriented approach. This courses is not for beginners, It is more suited for individuals with already basic knowledge in programming in Python

I took a chance on purchasing this 10 hour course, and I’m glad I did. There are enough anecdotal suggestions peppered into the content to make this a worthwhile presentation one slightly above the advertised start to finish run through of a Business Plan. I was particularly impressed by the very simple yet effective proposal of adding benchmark exponential growth slope lines to the MatPlotlib graphs. A grand suggestion, so thank you for that. [Note: I purchased this Course for the introductory US$9.99 price, so I cannot really speak of its worth per its full price]

very well structured and well planned content.

Just starting but the content of the course appears to be what I was hoping it would be
Stephen Galea –
Very good course and shows a typical scenario for a data scientist

the way you code is awesome; got to know a lot of things as to how to scrape and get data online

The best practice tips are good!

Excellent, this is one of the few courses that is really worth it, from start to finish well structured, to the point, concise explanation. I was left wanting more instructor courses. The 3 Stars is Just for the low resolution of the videos

Thus far this course is excellent, and it is at the appropriate level for me.
