The theme was in a file called Divi.zip, not Divi2.zip, and it was too big to load, so had to ftp the unzipped folder.

I have been thinking about using the Divi theme and to be honest, I thought this would be a cheap way of tasting it. I was initially happily surprised at the quality of the teaching, Patrick is enthusiastic about what he is teaching and I found that infectious. But it was around half way thru the fontpage tutorials I lost it, it felt like Patrick was repeating himself over and over… and I wasn’t learning anything new. So I just watched the remaining vids instead of working alongside them. I think the course is unfinished, because after the last vid I was expecting another and there was no more. I have dropped only half a star because I think this is still a value for money course because: 1> You get the Divi theme thrown in. 2> Patrick is attentive to questions 3> He is adding content to the course What more can you ask for?

It seems it lacks content between section 4 and section 5 : indeed, we jump from a business website without woocommerce plugin in section 4 to a divishop site with woocommerce plugin in section 5. I thought the woocommerce plugin would have been also studied like the Divi theme.

I found the structure of the course frustrating, because it didn’t seem to be edited for clarity. I was following along making my own website, and when we would have to undo a bunch of work because the instructor decided to try it differently, it ended up feeling like a lot of time was wasted. I also think that, with the new version of Divi and the visual builder, the course is outdated. I should have done my own due diligence and checked which version of Divi was being offered and which was most current, but lesson learned! (I don’t mean this to be harsh the instructor has a great sense of humour and is pretty engaging but halfway through the course I gave up because I felt like I was spending so much time doing and then undoing work. I would much rather have learned it and done it the first time, rather than going back again and again.)
