It’s not often that you get to use a language as powerful and as versatile as Python. Python is a great language for writing web applications, cross–platform desktop applications, Artificial Intelligence software, shell scripts, perform scientific computation, games, and even connect to and work with a myriad of relational and document–oriented database solutions. This course gets you up and running with using Python to program against relational and document–oriented databases such as SQLite, MySQL, SQL Server, and MongoDB. It teaches you the basic concepts of relational data, databases, tables, SQL, and walks you through the code required to connect to these databases and perform CRUD (create, retrieve, update, and delete) operations within them using Python. When you’re finished with this course, you’ll have a solid foundation to go out and start building your own database applications using Python.

The course is very basic but the theory is well explained. The final project is very interesting and useful for understanding python SQL interaction. The course can work as a complementary to SQL language programming courses. Software installation process is shown only for Windows.

Very profound insight, good examples and nice hands on project in the end. I learned a lot and I can recommend the course. As for the sound, the voice could be more engaging and towards the end the keyboard typing of the instructor was a bit loud. But all in all, no big issues, I recommend the course.

Very good course teaching the basic, yet quite advanced SQL features using Python. Was hoping it would also include an introduction on how to make a GUI out of the program. Would recommend this for anyone who is about or just started to learn SQL.

There is space for improvements, but it’s really nicely explained. Recommending for beginners.
