About the Author

Sam Saarinen is an artificial intelligence researcher with a graduate degree from Brown University. He runs his own consultancy company, through which he helps SMEs understand and leverage the emerging wave of AI technologies to increase their business value. He is currently investigating approaches to abstraction and scalability in reinforcement learning, scalable assessment creation, scalable pedagogical evaluation and experimentation, and collaborative/explainable machine learning.
