Hi everyone,
In this class, I’ll teach you how to build a mobile app without using code. We’ll be using a no–code tool called Glide Apps to build a demo travel and tours app that will contain a list of cities and places to visit in each city. We’ll also include information for each place and allow users to fill up a form and register their interest for a particular place.
In this class, we’ll learn:
What is Glide? What are the pros and cons?
How to connect a Google Spreadsheet with Glide?
How to show text, images and even link data from one spreadsheet with another?
How to use various Glide column types like Math, Template, Single Value, etc?
How to publish the mobile app and how to install the app on a mobile phone?
and a lot more!
The curriculum is structured in a way so that you can follow along and build your very own mobile app as well. By the end of the class, after you’ve published it, feel free to send me a link to the mobile app via a tweet and tag me in it—I’d love to check it out.
Important: The videos in this class were recorded before Glide redesigned their app builder UI. Conceptually, everything remains correct. Visually, the components might be located in a slightly different place. I have included a section titled 2021 redesigned app builder that compares the old UI versus the new UI and talks about where to find components in the new UI. Later this year, once Glide has made their changes, I might re–record this class with the new UI.
