Setting up and maintaining Kubernetes yourself on any cloud provider is painful… but now with Amazon EKS, the management of the Kubernetes control plane is fully handled by AWS. You will have more time and fun deploying your own applications the same native Kubernetes way you’ve been knowing all along, on the cloud provider you love… AWS!
Have you learned Kubernetes before but never got the chance to properly try out Amazon EKS? This course is for you!
In this course, we are going to explore the features and setup of Amazon EKS alongside many hands–on lectures.
In over 4 hours, you will learn:
how to deploy your EKS cluster using CloudFormation
how to scale your Kubernetes cluster
how to setup kubectl properly to access your cluster
how EKS works under the hood and its integrations with AWS
how to setup administration using the Kubernetes Dashboard

Mitch Dresdner –
Comprehensive, well planned course on Kubernetes in EKS. Instructor has a deep expertise in the subject and shares many practical useful examples.

I had already taken some Stephane Maarek courses, all five stars for me. Unfortunately, this one is not on the same level. Koenig’s classes are poorly edited and the sound is not very good. The course material available for download is not properly organized and it does not match the videos perfectly.
Thierry PARET –
Very interesting course to be more comfortable with kubernetes and more precisely learn more about the different storage to use
Ravimuthyala Muthyala –
Excellent course with detailed Hands on
James Littlefield –
The files in the provided resources do not match the lectures. But you can work around it. Lots of questions in Q&A are unanswered. Considering this course uses AWS and their service costs money, there is little to no instructions to tear down/delete things within the course, costing students money who forget to do so.

Great course and instructors!!! Very well presented and complete, I learned everything I was hoping to about EKS.
Santosh Chaudhari –
Very Good material and information

Hard to follow. Concepts are not explained. They are just demonstrated. And while most courses follow a real world example so you know what you’re trying to accomplish, this course is a random collection of examples that don’t try to accomplish real life scenarios. Or if they were, that is not explained.

Great for beginner to get started!
