Overall very good. I would have appreciated more extensive insight into the policy generator options rather than downloading a prepared JSON file, as I will have to create policies myself and will not be in a position to download someone elses. I would also have found a comprehensive explanation of why the 1 bucket user policy consists of three statements useful.

Extremely granular and helpful to anyone that has just started using S3 in any capacity. I really enjoyed the tips and tricks that were sprinkled in this course, some of them are a little out of date, which would require meticulous babysitting to resolve. After taking it though, it is clear that if you want to learn S3 down to a science, and probably whatever else Steve Dougherty teaches (which I am going to have to take a look at,) Steve does it with excellent speed and know how to give you the information and just enough to teach you something, but nothing boring enough to put you to sleep. This is an excellent course from Steve Dougherty. As someone who’s been using Amazon S3 for a while, I never quite understood why, all of a sudden, files which I could access and which worked no longer did. Steve lays out the basics (and more) in a good, orderly fashion that is easy to follow and learn from. On the occasion that I couldn’t resolve a problem I had, I messaged Steve for help. He was quick to respond and, in the 8 minutes screen video that he recorded to show me where I was going wrong, solved my issue with ease. The course is well paced, interesting, and I would recommend for those new to S3 and those wanting to learn more. Many thanks. Russ
