A Perfect beginners course, i am a software Engineer and i felt this course is very good start for Kafka, few more examples on Schema Registry would be more helpful, again this is just a beginner course and it is well designed to infuse Kafka to the beginners brain ! good work !

It’s one of the best courses I have taken. The instructor explains theory very thoroughly but also simple with a practical examples and use cases. Moreover, there are many hands on examples to better understand and practice the learning material. Maybe, the code isn’t as clean as Uncle Bob would do it, but it is clean enough to understand what is going on. Thank you, Stephane, and I will certainly meet you in your other courses 🙂

Following the real world Kafka project is truly useful. The Elasticsearch part is a little bit of out of date. The latest Elasticsearch > 7.x has made some major changes in document creation (mapping types removed), so it took me some time digging into the docs to figure out the proper way to ingest and retrieve the data in Elasticsearch. Bref, merci beaucoup Stephane.
