Instructor Details

Hi, I am Tom Stikkelman and currently work as a CNC Programmer in the Memphis Tennessee area. I was born in Amsterdam, Holland and moved to the United States in 1980 after finishing high school. I started my career as an apprentice machinist in 1985 after serving in the U.S Marines for 4 years. The first machine shop that hired and trained me was a large job shop that machined large components for military air planes. In 1992 I moved to the Memphis area and since have worked in Medical Instrument Manufacturing and Custom Industrial Machine building. In the last 6 years, I have enjoyed teaching students all about Machining and CNC Programming. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family. I enjoy watching soccer games, eating at restaurants and spending time at the beach.
