Beginning programming on Android – a Step by Step guide

This course teaches you how to program in Java on Android. No previous programming knowledge is required. The course teaches you to design, develop and debug your app in Android Studio. There is a focus on teaching you the principles of programming, design and debugging apps. 

During the course we create a number of apps. We start from relatively simple apps and build up to a final and relatively powerful app called TimeTo.

There are quizzes in the course in which you can test your knowledge and optional exercises. Most of the course consists of interactive screencast videos which are informative and paced at a speed that will help you grasp the key concepts.

At the end of the course you should be confident enough to develop your own Android apps.
