The knowledge and skill of the instructor is incredible, the videos are of great quality, and this class was very well organized. I do think it will help if students have a bit of experience with Zbrush and Unity, because the pace of these lectures is quite quick. I took this course for help with sculpting, and that portion of this course alone was well worth the price! As a visual learner, I found it very helpful to watch the instructor work. He gave some helpful tips for achieving some of the features I’ve been struggling to perfect, and I think that re watching some of these videos will help me progress to work with the ease and speed the instructor displayed throughout the course. Thanks for this great resource!

A very in depth course! Slightly fast paced, but great for both beginner and advanced 3D artists. Lots of great tips and tricks for efficiency I never would have thought of!

Great course, I am learning so much about all of these softwares and how to jump between them to create professional sculpts. I wonder if you could cover the baking process more thoroughly in future updates? You mentioned that there will be some updates coming, so it would be great if this could possibly be included! This seems to be the only course offered so far by you, but I hope there are more coming as I am really enjoying the presentation and content!

I’ve learned quite a bit with this course! It’s very in depth and thorough with its instruction. Highly recommend!

I learned so much in the Maya and Zbrush sections of this course! Great hotkeys and workflow efficiency. I feel that the course could use a final overview and breakdown of the baking process, but all in all it was great! I look forward to future courses.

I learned so much about Maya and Zbrush sections of this course! The hotkeys are fantastic and the workflow efficiency is incredible. Hoping the course will have a final overview soon, and possibly a breakdown of the baking process! Can’t wait for more courses and videos!!

This course is chock full of valuable information. Covers the entire workflow from start to finish. As others mentioned, the course can be fast paced at times, but as you learn the hotkeys and get a better understanding of the lingo, you really begin to appreciate the process being shown. In a future update, I would very much enjoy seeing the instructor do an even more in depth breakdown of the materials and attributes used in Unity. Very solid course!

This course, so far, is exactly what I was looking for! The instructor does a great job of explaining not just the material but the initial starting of a project as well as the things that go on in the background which may affect the things that you create.

***Go to the bottom for my first review, written after only just starting the course. So I’m actually editing my review because even though I gave it five stars the first time, I am completely addicted to this course. I watch it in the morning when I wake up, and I watch it during dinner. Even though it looks like Class Creatives is pretty new to the Udemy scene, they have absolutely nailed their teaching method down. A lot of people who have experience in the industry think they can teach simply by the fact that they know so much. But understanding and teaching are completely different things, and it takes a special kind of person who can view their own work from a beginner’s eyes. From the start of the course, the teacher takes special care to drill hotkeys and tool switches to get the students acclimated to the kind of natural and time saving movements that are important for a professional to build. The course also delves into the necessary planning phase of any project, and shows how to block out basic forms. As the course progresses, there’s careful attention given explaining the choices behind each decision. Often eachers will default to explaining WHAT they’re doing, instead of WHY they’re doing something. I don’t need to know that you’re carving out and rebuilding a section, but I do need to know that you’re doing it because it allows you to progressively adjust the depth until the form feels right to you. Those are the kind of insights this course gives you, down to the choice of brush and small buildups and adjustments. This is truly one of the best courses I have ever taken on Udemy, and I have 81 so far. First review: I came across the creators of this course because they commented positively on something I posted on social media. They didn’t mention course or anything, but I found it and decided to check it out. That same positive and encouraging voice is present in the course as well. Unlike many of the other courses I’ve taken, they begin by establishing the importance of the creative process for artists, and how this may play out in a job. Many courses are focused only on the subject, but seem to neglect any talk about how that subject works in the real world. This course places the lesson with in the broader context of the industry, and I’m excited to keep learning and sharpen my skills.
