The instructors speak TOO FAST. Those who are not native English speakers will find MANY difficulties in following the course. Subtitles don’t help keep up with what the instructors say. The instructors themselves recommend slowing down the videos, but so a 15 minute video becomes almost 30 minutes. Furthermore, the video is not really for real beginners. I have requested a refund.
Gualter Machado Mesquita –
Clear explanation and a lot of resources for solving doubts.
Arthur Neild –
The structure and learning style of the course is really great. The instructors give you a base of knowledge then build upon it brick by brick in easy to manage sections; I enjoy the way they don’t just teach you how to code games, but build them in a way that designing and tweaking becomes easier. A good all round package.
Justin Velasco –
More in depth and user friendly than I anticipated.
Hannah Tang –
Yes, this is what I was needing. I am using Unity to develop VR environments for my PhD, and had struggled with different textbooks and websites. So far it has been extremely helpful.
Ryan Flanagan –
I’m actually excited about learning this course instead of thinking Wait this is 34 hours, I’m happy that I’ll be able to have that much to be able to learn.
Cory Hack –
So far it has been. I have coded in Java throughout school but it has been a couple of years since I’ve used those skills. The intro to C# has been a nice refresher and is getting my brain to think like a coder again. Great job!
Anthony Wang –
I seriously enjoyed this and it was nice and simple so keep it on!
Obinna Ekezie –

David Luellen –
It took me a while to find the Resources tab. On the video I think he was going to the top left of the screen, but mine is in the top right. Good so far!
Pritam Saha –
Yes, absolutely awesome

I took this course after the 2D course by the same team. I still learned a lot of new stuffs, and I got stronger in the basics. I saw a big change in my skills and I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to grow as a game dev.
Priyanka Kelaskar –
This is very detailed course to understand unity and the programming as well. Very useful for all types of learners.
David Wu –
I loved the course! I learned many tips and tricks as well as a bunch of tools available in Unity. Coming from the 2D course I think the 3D course was supposed to be done first, as many basic concepts were explained here. Ben is a good teacher for explaining the concepts and technical stuff, but Rick really knows how to make experimenting and learning a fun and engaging experience. I totally recommend this course!
Carter Kirk –
I learned the unity game engine and how to write code
Andrew Liu –
It was wonderful at explaining things though the speaker is quite fast at talking.

Colby Robert Ebaugh –
I think this course is amazing, fantastic and worth the time investment. The only problem that i am having personally is i am a relatively slow learner and this is a very difficult thing to pick up and do. I found myself resetting the section to reinforce my understanding of basic code which helped. Im just trucking along, the teachers are great also! Very motivation and kindhearted
William Warder –
i realy like this its not to easy and it dosent seem to hard but ill put that to the test
Egor Masalitin –
It was above my expectations, very sophisticated course, for 15$ (regular price with discounts which happen frequently) it is probably the best investment out there if you want to dive into game dev. I finished this course and it was awesome, some parts are not really for me (game genre like) but it doesn’t matter as each piece gave me more information regarding the engine and so on. Happily bought some other courses from GameDev.tv. Thank you guys, you rock.
Narendra Pandit –
This course was very informational and easy to understand.
Nikhil Dev –
Terrible, the explanation is not clear at some point. Community is accepting, Tried posting questions at different platforms like discord, facebook, gamedev forums but still responses are not good plus the community didn’t accepted me a new dev in this field. I tried posting questions at QA but still no one gives response.

Great course, you can tell they really went above and beyond when setting up the lessons. Unlike other courses, they are very enthusiastic (with cool accents!) which keeps you focused and interested. Looking forward to spending more time in this course.
Ryan Gallimore –
I had very minor previous experience, and felt the pacing and explanations were very well implemented. Looking forward to the next modules.

Nicole Hock –
I am actually very new to this, so thorough explanations really help.
Raffaele Leruste –
I really enjoyed how the instructor talk during the course. How he explains and go to little details just to say that you can do that but also that and really shows what’s possible in different way. He let us go anywhere our brain want to and explains how to do it, a really good teacher. So far, i can’t regret my purchase 😀
Manuel Esteban Peralta –

So pleased to hear Rick’s voice again! I previously took the 2D version of this course and you can tell that these guys put a tonne of passion and excitement into their courses! Moving from the previous course has been a breeze so far since the fundamentals are taught in the exact same way.
