***Course has now been updated for .Net 6.0 and React 17***
Have you learnt the basics of ASP.NET Core and React? Not sure where to go next? This course should be able to help with that. In this course we learn how to build a multi–project ASP.NET Core solution that is built using Clean Architecture and the CQRS and Mediator pattern that makes our code easy to understand, reason about and extend.
Both ASP.NET Core and React are hot topics and this course will enhance your knowledge of both, simply by building an application from start to finish. In each module we learn something new, whilst incrementally adding features to the application. Building an application is significantly more rewarding than building yet another Todo List from the documentation!
Every line of code is demonstrated and explained and by the end of this course you will have the skills and knowledge to build your own application using the techniques taught in this course.
Here are some of the things you will learn about in this course:
Setting up the developer environment
Creating a multi–project solution using the the ASP.NET Core WebAPI and the React app using the DotNet CLI and the create–react–app utility.

The course content is great, however it lacks a thourougly explaination of the core concepts for both react and dotnet. Also, the technology used is really good! Would love a course with less functionality and more explaination of the core concepts. : )
Kev Trasler –
excellent explanations of every aspect helped me better understand parts I already thought I knew
Phil Hickman –
Neil is a great instructor, very knowledgeable in this domain and has a very easy to understand voice.

I don’t think i will change anything. Also hoping we can have something like this but with React Native.
Alain Legault –
Would have liked to know more hot to install nvm before I installed nodejs (too fast on the trigger!)

So far it’s great! Where in his .Net + Angular course I sometimes got stuck for a while because I had no exact section related code, here he provides this from the start. I also just appreciate his thoroughness with the setup. Showing what he uses and how to install. It makes it easy to start and code along.

I’ve done several React courses here on Udemy and am approaching a year of experience with it. Definitely the best course I’ve seen out there and really glad to see someone teaching React with MobX and TypeScript! This course also really brushes on a lot of best practices and shows many highly scalable patterns for both f/e and b/e development. Well worth the money spent.
shiva kumar –
very good explanation about software download to windows pc regarding visual studio and other

holding on for the meat of the content
Justin Yap –
The perfect course for those who love React and .net core. Good to have some basic understanding of both tech though before starting.

Sound good so far

So far NVM is not well explained, even the link to the installation is broken. The git install is skipped so, i dont know if its going to be managed though VS Code or any other client GUI. So, all the installation process of the required components is not well explained. Im going to continue the course with the tools that i already have installed prior to the couse and see what happens. I only change from VS to VS Code to follow along.

This course is pretty comprehensive and introduce lots of best practices. What’s more, after the course is published, Neil is still maintaining and updating it, which is pretty nice. We all do appreciate it. Definitely recommend taking it, no matter what level you are!

One of the most comprehensive and hands on instructors I’ve seen. Succinct explanations to every detail introduced! I love this.
Fahim Bhamla –
Wonderful course covering all the important topics in a practical manner along with a project.
Alte Oma –
He explains very good in every step why we use those methods and also with a bit theories before we start to code something, I have a bit knowledge about C# and just interested in ASP.Net and SignalR and search something for this. I just bought first course from this Trainer but I understand more than course that I took from live training institute in Germany, which trainers are kind of sleep medicine. At first I was confusing with all commands to use with terminal but after some sections, I feel better and really have fun with learning and following every step to code. Every subsection is not too long so I don’t even feel sleepy, only if it is already very late at night xD, and it’s easier to replay to watch where is my mistake or why my code couldn’t run (English is not really my mother language, I understand mostly but sometime if I’m not concentrate to listen I will miss some small details and another thing easy accent to understand as well for people who trying to force themselves to practice English with coding)

Awesome course. I got the perfect course what I was looking so far.

Very good my friend! LOL
Ulad –
Course is cool, I wanna signify that the author made a good job on explaining patters for architecture of .net projects, mediator & CQRS
Kelbin –
amazing courses, but i do have 1 small feedback, and that is the usage of so many 3rd party nuget package on the API side. I personally think it’s better to just use the default function from the .net core itself especially for beginners so they understand how the things really connect or run rather than extension from nuget doing magic, the code might be longer, but it will definitely help first timer understand better but again, amazing course!
Utpal Bhattacharjee –
This is one of the best course if not the best. Neil : A complete course in .Net Microservices (including deployment) by You will be a game changer in Udemy :).
Piotr Ciaputa –
Great!

I wish the instructor could explain each step and library more clearly and not just write out lines of code. | It could also be that there was way too much material in the course. It was difficult to absorb.
