Python is the best language to learn when you are beginning with software development
There are loads of Python resources online to choose from, but this is the only course that takes you from a complete beginner in software development, teaches you the fundamentals, advanced topics, and makes you an expert in this field.
In addition, you have loads of practice exercises and challenges to work on. I didn’t just add a bunch of exercises at the end. Instead, each concept is put in code and practiced so that we make sure you apply and learn everything through action.
You get over 24 hours of on–demand videos, exercises and most importantly projects to apply the knowledge we talk about.
I’ve spent years building software in Python, and years again teaching people how to build code for themselves.
This is the most complete course I’ve ever done, and it’s all to help you on your journey to become an expert developer.
We will cover basic topics such as
language fundamentals
collections
flow control
loops
handling errors and exceptions
functions
higher order functions
recursion
generators
modules
working with files
As well as advanced topics such as
Object Oriented Programming
Principles of development

Excellent course. The language is broken down into small concepts that are explained very well, and there are a lot of practical exercises to experiment with the concepts. This course is very useful for me

Pros: There’s a lot of content so one can for sure learn something The instructor knows the subject The instructor speaks slowly and in a very clear english. The projects at the end of course are quite interesting (but short) BUT Cons: A lot of repetitions in the videos. It is way too long to explain simple things. For example 25 min to explain just string formating. Clearly the length of the videos and the not challenging exercises make this course so boring. Here is an example why I feel it boring: In almost all lesson videos, he explains a concept on slide, then shows code example on slide. But just after, he opens the editor to type the exactly same code he just showed on slide. This is just boring repetition. The exercises are really really poor. Sometimes you don’t have all the input to success the exercise. For example exercise 37 on lambdas, you have to transform a list of strings into another, but the initial list is not given. So there’s no chance to complete the exercise. This course seems attractive at first because it has a lot of videos and exercises, but in fact it is a deceit. I just put one star because the instructors knows its subject and it is a lot of work to do all these videos. I definitely not recommend this course, there are lot more valuable python courses even for free.
