I joined a few Python courses before but most of them were uninteresting. This course actually helped me stick in and learn more. The topics are systematic and the tutor explains everything clearly. I also like, how we have little assignments and quizzes after every concept and then a test after each section helping us recall everything. The little quizzes are too easy and have hints and I didn’t like it at first, but when I solved the tests at the end of each section, I kinda found it difficult, competitive, which actually requires brains. Love this course and I’d suggest all the readers who are actually reading this comment to go for it. Trust me, you won’t find a course better than this. for item in range(0,101):

I have a fairly good background in programming, as I have done so all the way back to GW Basic (which was before MS Basic became the standard). However, that makes me an …old woman or at least I feel that way, being almost 50, having 4* 23 29 yr old children (and grandchildren!). I’ve learned at least 6 different languages, including APL and Fortran (both long dead, learned on a college mainframe the size of a medium classroom), Basic, C+,Visual Basic, HTML, and SQL. I can’t find any decent database programs right now that do everything I want them to do (without buying Office, but I refuse to support MicroSloth any more than I am already forced to do so with the always buggy bloated and flawed successive versions of Windows), so I guess I’ll try to learn the new kid on the block, Python!

Great review. Looked at python briefly a long time ago, so this is simple, but it’s not too lengthy and serves as a good review anyways.

So far, it appears to be exactly what I want, but getting the materials has been ‘problematic’. Hopefully, the FAQ section will get me set to actually ‘put hands on’ the reference materials that so far are elusive
