I had been waiting to cover some ground in the course so that I can write an objective review. So far, the course has been phenomenal in both its content and delivery. Andrei does a great job explaining the concepts in an easy to follow manner while also challenging you to try things on your own. He teaches the concepts themselves but also how things work under the hood and where many topics and concepts originate from and provides resources in case you want to cover them more in depth. The course also covers many different topics and uses of Python that aren’t always bundled up in a single course, so it’s a good way to learn Python and explore different areas of it to see which one you want to move forward with. The course is good, and Andrei is an amazing teacher, so why the 3 stars? the real issue which prevents me usually from giving a complete score to a programming course, is when the course doesn’t include 2 main topics (which most courses lack), GUI (and I don’t mean HTML and CSS) and turning the programs into executables. If a course claims that it is a complete course in any language but doesn’t include these 2 topics, it is NOT in any way a complete course.

Started off great and slow and it’s getting harder but, we’re finally able to do cooler aspects to coding because it got that much harder. I would think it would be great if you would give us a quiz or a test of ten exercises that we can try after we have completed each section so that we can retain the information more without having to keep looking at our notes.

This is a great match for me. I have minimal coding experience, small amount of php/mysql, some MS Access front end design experience. I think Python was a great place for me to start.
