The instructor knows the subject very well and has various alternate solutions to prove the point and to prove code efficiency.. I found the course to be fun and engaging. I enjoyed the introduction to regex101 and its features and how to use it for developing expressions.. The course not only taught me RegEx but it taught me how to approach a problem, to analyze it and to plan a solution then prove that solution using the regex101 tool….

Such a wonderful course!!!. I have been trying to learn regexp since some time. This course is a perfect blend of exercises and learning and is a must try for those who wants to learn regexp in a better way. Also the instructor provides timely response to queries .

Flow is good, but some English words used are wrong like % symbol is pronounced as Percentile, whereas it should be percentage. British and English spell changes are stated as pronunciation differences. In the example of vowels (a,e,i,o,u) it will help the student if instructor emphasis the point that comma separation is not to be used in regex as it is it implicit. But if you ignore the English part, the course is technically good.

Content ok, but presentation is horrible

Nice to learn with the exercises. taking more time to say the bullet point in each lesson. Just precise and jump into the point. I just felt spending more time to learn small points you have covered upto 9 sessions.

The course really takes you from beginner level to above intermediate level. I didn’t say expert because i feel that the level of examples remained very basic. Ideally, their complexity should have increased in every chapter

So far very valuable.. better at 2X speed.
Mindaugas Vaitkus –

thank you Sir, your course is useful and clear.

Everything was fine, except from the fact that you cannot move to a particular time in the video. If you click on the horizontal bar, then it auto jumps to the beginning.

Speaker is knowledgeable, but he has a horrible accent and pronunciation overall. You also often cannot have the text which you see on the screen downloaded to try composing regexps yourself.

It’s a good tutorial for a beginner. There are some basic slips e.g. he suggests that A z will capture all alphabets but he misses to mention that it also captures characters of ASCII value 91 to 96. Every chapter begins with 4 seconds of music which is too irritating to bear and I’ve deducted 0.5 point rating for the same. There are some other problems e.g. the pace is too slow, the author repeats the same thing many times in the same chapter etc. but overall the content is good for beginners to learn the concepts of Regular Expression.
