The overall content was ok, I have been working with selenium on other languages like java (needed to learn it for Ruby) and the audio was hard to understand not so much as the accent, but mostly due to the audio sounding ‘muffled’ like when you have something stuck in your mouth. The video quality is poor, and it did not even look like 720p at all making the code hard to see on the screen. I did learn the basics for doing automation with Ruby but I had to guess for most of the lectures. I bought this course over all others due to the most ‘recent’ updated date shown in the page, but clearly the content as far as video output is NOT.

I have been curious to know how developers use Java. I am looking forward to learning more about that in this course. I have heard a lot about Selenium, and am eager to learn how to automate browsers with it. I like that the Q&A section is active. I will be posting questions there as they arise) I really benefited from the explanation of Regex and appreciate the introduction to Rubular. I’m still in the early part of the course, but it’s definitely beneficial so far. The audio quality and the instructor’s presentation/delivery skills improve as he progresses.

Quality of sound is awful. Instructor is using ‘OK’ so many times that it can piss off any calm person.

Something I don’t quite enjoy about this course is that the instructor speaks either too fast or it is just too hard for me to understand his pronunciation (English is not my mother tongue). It might be because of the same reason that I find the pace of the course kind of a rush.

Yes, It was a perfect match for what I was expecting. I had some issues, with Video playback & also I wish, Video would have been recorded in 1080 format.

This course has been great so far. I was aware of some of the material but it really broke it down more for me. The examples were amazing and I like how we learned the concept first, then looked at an example and lastly practiced examples in ruby. This class has definitely exceeded my expectations.

Almost there. It was almost everything I was looking for. Only missing the helpers (or also called Utils) file with various reusable defs (methods) for repetitive actions, such as .click, .send keys, .get text, etc. It usually helps to comply with DRY principle of coding. Although inheritance was explained during the course, there was no demonstration of how to apply and use it in the final cucumber framework. That would also help comply with DRY principle.
