What students say:
Bill Burns
This course does assume some prior knowledge of PHP type programming, with the limited knowledge I have thus far, I find I can follow quite easily as well as learn new techniques. Instructor appears to be very knowledgeable about subject.
Dennis Ferraro
Although I could clearly see my lack of skill in php and css I was able to understand enough to execute the new information, given the platforms. The course delivered what it said it would.
Timothy Dykes
The course was to–the–point without a bunch of rambling on about irrelevant and unrelated things. It was easy to follow along with the creation of the form from start to finish in all of the languages necessary (except the styles, maybe). The finished form is also available as a .zip so that you can explore the source code yourself if there is something you had trouble following in the video.
Following the lectures will let you practice step by step the development process. During the course you will understand how to set your page, create an HTML form, stylize it with CSS and later process it with PHP and JavaScript. In the course you will find practical lecture on adding additional protection against Spam bot submission attacks. You will also gain solid understanding on the whole development process.

Great course! It was exactly what I was looking for. The instructor responded to all of my questions very quickly.

Really a nice course! The instructor know was is doing! Would recommend this course to anyone that need to learn how to make a contact form that is working with php and javascript!

I consider the purchase of this course a mistake for the following reasons: it’s conducted in such a manner, that it makes coding along harder as it should be the source code doesn’t contain any comments (at all!). This is particularly bad since this is written for students trying to learn this stuff he rushes over the javascript file so quickly that it doesn’t really explain anything at all the form doesn’t forward the message, but saves it to a text file. When I uploaded all the original project files to my server, I found out that this text file saving doesn’t work out of the box input validation seems to have a bug There is a different course on the same topic at Udemy that does a much better job at helping you to write a contact form that actually works.

I learned more than I expected to. Though I had hoped to learn how to get a server like XAMPP running in order to test the php. Knowing this was assumed in this class. But otherwise it’s a solid class on learning to build an airtight contact form. I’m wiser for taking it!

I enjoyed taking this course. I would have liked to have a few downloads of code at the beginning so I could check what I was doing. I was trying to follow along, but when you make a mistake sometimes it’s hard to see it on your own. Still and all the course has great information and is well organized.
