If you really want to build one website just to showcase as a project then this course is for you but don’t expect to learn alot from this and yes its quite better than the things available freely on Youtube.

Awesome course. Lecturer really knows his stuff. The Photoshop section was taught well and as I am new to PS I went through every step in order to get my muscle memory working. I have done a lot of html, css and JS myself previously so found this section easy to follow as methods unfamiliar to myself were introduced. I think a complete beginner would have issues following the coding section but for myself I was very interested in how the superb effects such as the mobile menu worked. Note all the code and materials are available throughout the course. I did actually skip several steps but fact you can load a previous lessons final look and feel, allows you to focus on areas you would like to master yourself (adjusting code etc). I also reduced the speed of the lectures sometimes in order to see exactly how things were done at a pace I could follow. Rob

This course is a very good course. I am an absolute beginner to web development and design. It explained each step in detail and how every step works in building a web site. I would recommend any one that has no web development or web design experience to take this course.

From this class I was expecting to learn how to create a design on Photoshop for a website and how to transform that design into code, or at least to learn new tricks on how to do it. Both these steps in this class where just shown instruction by instruction (as in move down 100px), without ever explaining why something was moved there or why that particular class of bootstrap was chosen. I knew already how to use Photoshop and I didn’t learn anything new, but I believe that a beginner wouldn’t learn anything good anyway, because the teacher never explains what he does, he just executes. I would have preferred to design a much smaller site, but with less repetitive and more extensive explanations. Compared to other classes I got (Webdeveloper bootcamp, advanced css and sass), this course isn’t worth buying.
