Hello, and welcome to Crystal Reports 2008–2016 – An Introduction.
In this course we’ll be looking at SAP Crystal Reports, and how to use it.
This course starts right at the beginning, and so is good for absolute beginners, but would also be useful for you if you have previously used it, perhaps viewing reports or making basic reports, and would like to improve your skills.
You don’t need to have Crystal Reports on your computer, as first of all we will install a trial version of Crystal Reports for free, so that you can use it on your computer free for 30 days. This way, you can practice with your new skills, experiment with your own data and create your own reports.
This course is separated into 7 levels, each getting progressively more deeper into Crystal Reports. They are:
All of this will be taken at a fairly leisurely pace, so you can really get familiar with the menus and icons.
By the end, you will be able to develop your own reports, and start to explore other people’s. And there’s a Certificate of Completion available if you complete the course.

This was exactly what I was looking for. I have around 7 8 years of Crystal Reports experience but haven’t used it in almost 10 years. This was a great refresher course for me and I also got to familiarize myself with the updated version of Crystal Reports which isn’t too too different from the older version I used. I enjoyed the presenters style of teaching. His voice was pleasant and not monotone at all, to me it was more conversational. His pace was perfect for me. I also liked that each lecture was short and to the point, not long and overly drawn out. He got the point across quickly and efficiently. Overall great beginner or refresher course. Thanks!

The course gave a good overview of the software. I appreciated the thoroughness showing different aspects of the software and giving examples for each section without bogging down too much in explanations beyond what was necessary to move forward.

Phillip is an excellent instructor. His courses are well layed out and quite thorough. My second class with him so far.
LUIS GERMAN ARAGON HERNANDEZ –
Good for a Beginner experience.
Reg Henderson –
It would be better if the instructions for downloading and installing Crystal Reports was up to date.

It’s been a while since I worked in Crystal Reports, so I needed a refresher. This course had some valuable reminders and a few new tricks. It was a bit slow moving for me, but for a complete beginner, it would likely be fine.
Barry Turner –
Great match because he talks slow.
George Mogilevsky –
very clear explanations, gradually and properly builds up the skills. content well picked. good pace for beginners. i use x1.25 , also sounds great without any distortion.
Inessa Shelest –

David Bogan –
Yes, this course was a good match for me at a beginning level.
Andrew Chapman –
Instructor jumps around a lot. He should record the video and audio separately. Also does say what the point of each subject is. Didn’t learn much.
Noman Farid –
Good for learning
Chris Franovich –
file link no longer works

I enjoyed the course. I learned a lot, the instructor is very knowledgeable. The examples are practical, and the instructor gives plenty of explanation on new subjects! He makes learning CR interesting. However, the white noise coming through the microphone is pretty intense and it’s difficult for me to understand all the spoken words. Additionally, the auto subtitles are not very accurate or helpful. So I give this course a great rating based on content, usability, and instructor! But quite a low rating in terms of audio quality and ability to comprehend.
