Overall, this course was informative and quite comprehensive, and I have learnt a lot from it. However, sometimes the subtitles were a bit terrible that was not friendly at all to non English speakers. It would be awesome if that could have been more accurate.

This is the only course I could find that focuses on data warehousing *for engineers*. Other courses focused on data warehousing from a BI perspective which is quite different. The sections on ER and Dimensional modeling are the best parts if you find you don’t like the course, skip ahead to those. I like that he focuses on the broad concepts, rather than particular tools since everybody may choose a different tool. However, it is very often too vague the section on metadata is particularly nonsensical, but many of the videos don’t truly make sense, and his verbal descriptions are sloppy. Also, occasionally I think that the explanation of concepts is incorrect. Finally, sometimes it seems dated (and I’m not just talking about the graphics, but rather the overall modes of thinking that are presented). That said, I think this can still be a decent overview of how many people think about the topic. It’s best if you already know a decent amount about databases so you won’t get confused even when the presentation is confusing. I just can’t really recommend it since so many videos are unclear.

Too much theory with no examples given.
