Digital Signal Processing (DSP) From Ground Up™ in C
$109.99 $19.99Track price
With a programming based approach, this course is designed to give you a solid foundation in the most useful aspects of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) in an engaging and easy to follow way. The goal of this course is to present practical techniques while avoiding obstacles of abstract mathematical theories. To achieve this goal, the DSP techniques are explained in plain language, not simply proven to be true through mathematical derivations.
Still keeping it simple, this course comes in different programming languages and hardware architectures so that students can put the techniques to practice using a programming language or hardware architecture of their choice. This version of the course uses the C programming language.
By the end of this course you should be able develop the Convolution Kernel algorithm in C, develop the Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) algorithm in C, develop the Inverse Discrete Fourier Transform (IDFT) algorithm in C, design and develop Finite Impulse Response (FIR) filters in C, design and develop Infinite Impulse Response (IIR) filters in C, develop Windowed–Sinc filters in C, build Modified Sallen–Key filters, build Bessel, Chebyshev and Butterworth filters, develop the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) algorithm in C , even give a lecture on DSP and so much more. Please take a look at the full course curriculum.

Brian C Peterson –
This was a very informative course and does apply to what Im coding. After watching this course Im am inspired and encouraged to practice my math a little bit more, even though its not as necessary, it does give good background to the coding scheme.
Akposionu Kenneth –
Very Clear and Straight to the point. The instructor is very knowledgeable on the topics.
Foster Gorman –
Loving everything so far. Well explained, and easy to follow.
Kamil Kanas –
Great Signal Processing training with well explained code examples. I really enjoyed every minute. Thank you
Eric de Jager –
Up till now the course is usefull. The array in C as data file is new for me.
Jeremy Lake –
12 lectures so far… installing an ide (surprise it’s codeblocks?! what is this 2003? and I’m on a mac in 2019.) + an overview, installing GNU plot + an overview, statistics (taking an average (mean) of an array of floats, variance, std dev; these can be used to determine s.n.r), we must be getting to the ‘dsp in C’ one of these days :/
Eric Jacobs –
great material and thorough coverage
Chris McGarvey –
More digital filter code would be very helpful.
Zachary Farmer –
Very in depth look at practical design and application with digital filtering. Free tools; coding excercises. Fourier, Nyquist, Recap of Signal Processing Fundementals
Sergio Italo Miranda Pedretti –
