Have you ever wanted to create a Web application but didn’t know where to start? Have you previously tried to learn Django but got fed up with incomplete YouTube videos and poorly written tutorials? Or are you looking to move your code from Django 2 to Django 3?
THEN THIS IS THE COURSE FOR YOU!
In my Django course, I will walk you through the Django web framework from beginning to end! I’m a self–taught programmer so I know what it feels like to start from scratch. I care about your learning, but even more importantly… I care about you!
What is Django?
Django is an open–source web framework that is written in Python. It was created about twelve years ago, but new in 2020 we have Django 3 with a whole new set of features and capabilities!
Django is an amazing framework for web developers because it provides the infrastructure required for database–driven websites that have user authentication, content administration, contact forms, file uploads, and more. Instead of creating all of these features from scratch, you can use the Django framework and utilize these components that are already built, and focus your time on developing your web app instead.
If you’re going to be working with Python, especially for web applications or web design, you’ll want to learn the Django framework. It will save you a ton of time!

Gail Deadwyler –
Really Good Tutorial so far! I love how Nick says after explaining a challenge: don’t watch me solve the challenge, go ahead and try to solve the problem yourself! LOL!! Try something, fail, StackOverFlow, repeat… Actually, it’s kinda fun to break something, figure out the problem and boom, it starts working again! Nick is prepping us for real world programming in this sense.

Nick, you are going way too fast and instead of explaining things, you refer us back to ‘googling it in the future to get a refresher’ to me, this is unacceptable. I should be learning this and able to apply it. I am having to watch and re watch these videos multiple times. SLOW IT DOWN!!! and EXPLAIN WHY we are doing things. You are also leaving out waaaaaay too many details. Have you ever sat through your training and followed along with what you are attempting to teach us? Have some empathy for your students and see what it is like to learn from you.
Cristobal Haye –
Excelent and funny. Great work!

Very nice training. Nick is passionated and full of energy. I really appreciated the parts on Git and Pythonanywhere. The part on Boostrap is a bit poor but there are plenty of dedicated trainings out there on that topic. Thanks again

Madalina Harii –
Truly one of the best courses I’ve taken so far! The projects are really interesting and the teacher’s delivery is super engaging. I am really only starting out with Python and this was also my very first Django course; however I took away from this course enough to help me in my future projects. I very much recommend it!
Sean Chapin –
I like how enthusiastic Nick is about the subject. Also, I really like how he makes sure we understand how everything in Django is connected! Project Apps urls views templates, etc. Finally, he makes a very good point about the challenges and don’t just quit or look to the solution but you might need to really struggle and this is how you actually learn. Nick, keep up the good work! Words of wisdom for Nick. In almost anything in life teaching, leading, etc. 1/3 of the people will love the way you teach, or the decisions a leader makes, etc. 1/3 are neutral and don’t really care or have a strong opinion and the last 1/3 hate something! Try to ignore the last 1/3, yes you might be able to learn something from their feedback but you will always have that 1/3. Keep up the good work!

Really what an amazing course and amazing instructor
Chris Basham –
I like the approach to incrementally building the password generator app; it clearly explains the purposes of the various files and folders created by django by default.
Oliver Tran –
This is a quick crash course that will drive you through some basics of Django, not all [basics]. Having read beforehand the Introductional Tutorial on the Django official documentation, I’ve found most of the concepts already at my disposal as well as many that were not covered in the course. Nick is a very funny guy and quite skilled. I’ve found funny that he mistypes so frequently (maybe even too many times for a recorded non live course… 😉 ), but I’ve seen a few on extraordinary coding lines. You’ll have to already know about HTML, Bootstrap, Web default stuff, etc. or you’ll feel lost at some points. I would suggest this course to mid to experienced Web developers basically to round up they beginner knowledge of Django and that can get the best out of this course content without getting ainted by some of the leaks. And to get an easy certificate 😉 Anyway a good start, but can be refined more.
