Good course for beginner to intermediate VueJs users. Good review of core features. Shorter than other courses but more practice based / less theory based. This is helpful. Course was not a review of VueJs docs, which is a common thing in Udemy courses (many authors are simply providing visual demonstration and review of language docs). This course is example based and provides a good, although brief foundation. If you’re serious about Vue, you’ll need to train for many hours beyond this course. Or, if you’re familiar with other Js frameworks like Angular/Ember, this will help you jumpstart to Vue. Author is a native English speaker and shows significant mastery of core JS programming concepts, syntax, and grammar. Worth the cost. Recommended.

This course is not for beginners in Web programming even if you know HTML, CSS and javaScript. The reason I purchased this course was that, although I did have some experience with Vue, I wanted to approach the subject in a more structured way. Sadly, I soon found out that this course would not help me reach that goal. I did learn some things, but the thought of asking for a refund crossed my mind more than once during this course. And I think I would have done it if it was still refundable at the time I started it. Information is presented in a very condensed if not inadequate way, so there were several videos I had to watch more than once in order to fully comprehend what was going on. Also, I often had to pause and do some googling to get more details about the concepts presented. The course does not include any exercises or projects that you can do to help all that info sink in. All you can do is download the resources provided at the beginning of the course and try to follow along. Section 6 seems to be a little messed up. Usage of Cloud 9 is confusing if you haven’t had any previous experience with it. Same goes with references to webpack, although it is repeatedly stated that it is outside the scope of this course. The resources used in the section are not included in the zip file with the rest exercises. In conclusion, I would say I am rather disappointed at this course. I am also surprised that, at the time I am writing this, it has a rating of 4.8 but then again, I just noticed that only 3.4% of the enrolled students (32 out of 937) gave a rating…
