It was a solid introduction to graphql using the Apollo client, although we could probably have had a few more complex topics introduced

I find that this instructor takes great pains to make sure that his courses are relevant, up to date, and reliable. Really great layout of all the practical information I need, and always well worth the time!

The course provides lots of useful information, but at the same time is lengthy. It could be compressed into a shorter, more concise form. Also, unfortunately it’s outdated (e.g. mentions very old version of Relay) and GraphQL has progressed a lot since this course was recorded. There are other courses which provide a more up to date set of information. I would consider them before looking at the high score of this one.

As usual a great course from Stephen I like how he explained everything in deep detail I almost have all his courses because I like the way he teaches. only one thing I wish there are someone answers the questions in QA

Although, I’ve bought Stephen’s other courses, and thought that they were pretty good, but this one wasn’t a Complete developer’s guide. There’s a lot of missing concepts that I feel like he could touch up on. Will I did have to buy other GraphQL courses to help me fill in the gaps. Might be better to start there, sorry. Will leave it at 3 stars until I see a big improvement on this. Just my 3* cents

very good explanations, but needs to be updated
Ville Siren –
All the concepts are well explained and the build up for the next topics are really well done. I recommend this to any one starting from beginner level upwards.
Yigit EFE –
Teaches the core concepts, but compared to the official documents, a bit outdated. Also diverges from topic, and sometimes you forget whether this is a GraphQL course or a React course.
Alyssa Salstrom –
Grider is superb as usual
Mohammed Hammoud –
I wish I could refund this course. It’s outdated.
Matt Burch –
This course was exactly what I needed to have all the back and front end pieces required to build my passion project. Stephen is an incredible instructor, the absolute best.
Luka Belani –
A+!
Sachin Singh –
Well explained concept. I urge the creator of this course to keep it up to date as a lot of things have change with newest versions.
Tom Ross –
Great explanations, examples and pacing (though I’m watching at 1.25x). The course really could use a dozen tiny updates here and there to reflect API changes in the used libraries.
Stefana Gloginic –
So far the instructor is doing a good job confirming what I understood as graphQLs use case and incorporating it on top of existing express based API
Marcin Dancewicz –
Looks promising 😀

This guy never update his course, we need to spend hours in google for searching new setups. Damn
Ben Hayat –
Stephen has an amazing talent of teaching. First present the problem clearly, then walk through how to solve it. Although I’m not doing React, but I bought this course to learn GraphQL development no matter what the client is. I give him 5 stars.
Victor Chen –
This course is too specific about the frontend technique to be used with GraphQL, which happens to be React/Express. This makes many important topics, e.g. the schema format, to be meaningful only if you plan to use the same stack. It actually spends more time talking about React and frontend building than GraphQL (given the title of the course, I’d say it’s fair to suppose it spends half the time talking about React, but I think most people buy this course for the GraphQL part) For someone who just wants to learn GraphQL as a frontend agnostic technique, the course is rather useless.

Useful info, I’m now working on my graphql app. : )

The beginning of the course was very clear and easy to understand.
