This is probably one of the hardest courses to follow I have ever used. It’s amazing how you talk for 80% of each video then write code for the other 20%. When you write code you do 100 mph not explaining anything you are doing. This is clearly a course for people who already know HTML and CSS. I would not recommend this course for anyone honestly, what a shame. I asked for a refund it was honestly that bad.

This course is a great preparation for more in depth courses in web design. It goes along well with HTML5 CSS3 textbooks the cover the same material. The step by step assignments helps put into practice the material that is explained in the lectures. Overall, its a great course.

Some things I hear for the first time and this man doesn’t explain what they are for or why he uses them. It is confusing, he just types some codes and goes on. If I didn’t know what body or h1 or head was I wouldn’t understand him.

I liked the content, presentation, flow of material and the technical aspects such as progress, rewind, speed, and picking up where I left off. Didn’t like the speed of the coding in the labs, but I am not a coder. Some of the quiz material was not in the lecture (I linked back to verify this, but again, good technical method). I think more examples and analyses of other websites would be a benefit, to see how other designers work.

I really enjoyed this course because it gave me a clear understanding on the basics of HTML and CSS. I think the course was paced well enough to keep me focused while also keeping me challenged. This is an awesome course for people just coming into this industry!
