When Apple announced SwiftUI at WWDC developers throughout the world knew that it would change everything.
As time goes by, we will quickly see SwiftUI become the standard way to build apps, eventually replacing UIKit.
SWIFTUI CHANGES EVERYTHING
Everything you know about building interfaces has changed with SwiftUI.
No more Storyboards
No more Segues
No more View Controllers
No more long build times for UI changes
If you have ever developed in Flutter and Dart you will find SwiftUI similar and refreshing. You now build reactive components and can watch the changes in real time (no more manually building for each change).
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
This course is designed for Swift developers who want to get a quick handle on Swift UI. Here are some of the things we will cover in the course:
Simple components
Working with data
Progress bars
Working with lists
Moving around data
Opaque types
Working with State
Working with forms and data
App navigation
ObservableObjects
and more
The goal of this course is to get you up and running quickly with SwiftUI. It also comes with projects that will help you retain what you have learned.
Let’s get started!

Glenn Raya –
Great lessons, the explanations are clear and concise. I hope you cover how to integrate Firebase as well and SQLite, COREML, ARKit, Biometrics security and using the camera api.
Dave McKee –
hope that mark eventually offers more SwiftUI courses that include topics such as; nsuserdefaults, core data,,,,

Good course content but it would be nice to have a copy of the code after each lesson so within xcode we could switch between the code files to see the detail instead of having to replay the videos. Plus it would be nice to have an example of each of the projects after we have completed our version so we can compare our attempt to your expert version.

Mark is a great teacher!
Andrew Hall –
Mark is a great instructor.
Kenneth Lang –
Great course, as usual, Mark does a great job of explaining in simple terms how this works. Awesome instructor.
Johnson Tsay –
It is very concisely.
Joshua Wedekind –
Good info so far. I’m a React dev, so this is really clicking.
Barry rowe –
Little bit wordy with way cool language that is not needed.
Terrance McHugh –
It is an excellent course that assumes knowledge of swift, so more for advanced beginner and up. I took away one star because the do it yourself challenges (that can take up to 5 hours) are never mentioned again or sample code shown for them. If someone has a problem with the challenge, they are sort of on their own. Still, I would this recommend course except for absolute beginners.

A bit disappointed that there is no completed source codes for those projects.
Peter B ttiker –
Great course and good introduction to SwiftUI.
Merlock Fairwood –
I understood going in that this would be a brief introduction to SwiftUI, but I was expecting to see what a holistic SwiftUI Xcode project looks like, including non UI related code and how it’s structured in a SwiftUI project (e.g. where do you put code that uses cloud service libraries to contact the backend).

Easy to follow along with the material being presented. Well structured. Interesting tips. Good job!
