Information is not useful if not organized. In database, data is organized in a way that people find it meaningful and useful. Database Management System (DBMS) is used to input, sort, organize and store data.
Database Management System (DBMS) is a Software for data storage & retrieval, for creating user interface (forms), reports, and for administering a DB system (security, access, etc.). An implementation of a DBMS product to support various information needs in a company includes one or more databases, logic (business rules), backend code and user interface.
An information system that is built from “applying” a DBMS or a database to a specific domain, supports specific information needs.

English is the instructors first language. The computer voice needs to do all of the lectures.

There is a lot of information and a good foundation. But, it feels too fast in how it is presented and needs going over multiple times to get the concepts. Also doesn’t feel like a coherent course but a bunch of small lectures thrown together with no coherent thread. What I mean is that all the videos are individual stand alone lectures(none over 5 mins) that they put together with questions in between.
Brandon Weaver –
Bad spelling throughout the slides. Section 2 is all computer generated voice. Less than moderate amount of information. Also, many of the lectures have loud music playing the whole time.
Anneli Soone –
The content was informative, but the pace of the first section was too fast and a bit difficult to understand with the loud music. Second section much clearer.
