With Salesforce DX, you can now benefit from modern collaboration technologies such as Git to version control everything across your team – your code, your org configuration, and your metadata. Salesforce enables you to export more of your metadata, define data import files, and easily specify the edition, features, and configuration options of your development, staging, and production environments.

Fantastic course, industry standard usage of VS code is depicted in this course. Very well explained with minimal fuzzy examples. Excellent for beginners.

Everything is to do point. Anthony clearly explains how to get the things done but also shades light on his reasoning of doing things in a certain way.. Although I’ve already know many basic features, I’m glad to learn new features that I was not aware of. Job well done!

Awesome short portions of content about Salesforce DX

I am Salesforce Admin, but work with Developer closely. Having this 2 hour session helps me in getting more practice and clear on how DX, Github work. Thank you for preparing this course. Can we get training regarding using Flow please? I really want to learn more in building flow as well…Love all the sessions prepared by Mike as well.

the information is great but it’s all happy path based. I ran into a number of vs install issues as I have gone through this. Yet, there is no mention as to possible issues people may face or how to avoid issues. It would help if some troubleshooting tips were included.

Awesome

Great material, takes right after his ol’ man on the delivery too.

I had already gone through most of this set up via Trailhead but this lays out the steps nicely and because some of the things on Trailhead assume more prior knowledge (e.g. of VSCode UI) this course is helping to smooth over those gaps.

Sometimes focuses a bit much on the Mac user experience w/o gotchas for WIndows users such as (how to grep). A lot of reliance on CONSOLE viewing, in a very tiny font. COULD be helped by zooming occasionally so we can see clearly what is presented.
Todd Weetman –
It was great. I would have liked a little on creating branches and best ways to collaborate with others using Git

I loved and found this because most youtube videos are not providing the correct way to install or solving user errors. thank you
