Great course for beginners to learn XMLHttpRequests and to connect to API’s and output to web page. Was good for me to reinforce what i taught myself about XHR.

I think i took this course in hope to get quick fix on Ajax, basically i expected to see a project where your read json and populate it with stuff and in the same time interact with other html control elements like radiobutton , editfield , combobox, more interactivity to understand how Ajax works. I understand Ajax as technology where you allow user to interact with your page and show the result of the interaction later like i dont know you have oil prices status and you click on formular and send email to you friend , you as user dont wait for the update of the current oil prices so its really async , you can do many things at the same time….. This course is good for people who want to get first experience of JavaScript nothing more nothing less, AJAX stuff not so well described.

Laurence is great at breaking things down in a way that the concepts really made sense. I was very happy with the course and will definitely be using it as a reference in the future.
